Agreement between the NHIF and Zakat Bureau

The Federal Six-Party Committee between the National Health Insurance Fund and the General Secretariat of the Zakat Bureau met in Sinja, Sennar State, where the two sides agreed to approve the field survey of households in Sennar State, which amounted to 170,323 families, and to pay the health insurance debt for the years 2023/2024, amounting to 1.8 billion by the Zakat Bureau.

Dr. Siddiq Wahaballah, Director of the General Directorate of Health Services headed by the National Health Insurance Fund, stressed that the partnership is strategic and that this funding will contribute to improving services, their integration, and spread in the countryside.
