AcoGaps Organizes Training Course on protocol and etiquette

The training course on etiquette, and protocol, organized by the African Center for Governance, Peace, and Transition Studies (AcoGaps) , concluded today, August 24, 2025, at the Seaports Authority Training Center in Port Sudan.
Dr. Mahmoud Zein El Abidine, Director General of the AcoGaps stated that the training course comes within the context of supporting good governance and institutional development. It aimed to provide participants with knowledge and skills in the field of protocol and protocol, and to develop the necessary capabilities to deal with various official and diplomatic situations.
The training program covered interrelated topics, including the rules and basics of protocol, writing official correspondence, organizing official events, and effective professional communication, in addition to sessions for sharing experiences and expertise.
The course was attended by students from government institutions, the private sector, and academics. The course content was presented by Professor Sirr El Khatim Abdel Rahim Tutu and Ambassador El Sadig Abdullah Elias. The closing session was graced by Dr. Mohamed Haroun Mujahid, Director of the General Administration for Training and Administrative Reform in the Red Sea State; Engineer Khaled Abu Ali, Director of the Digital Transformation Department at the Ministry of Communications; Engineer Mohamed Hassan Mohkar, Ms. Yusra Ahmed, and Mr. Al-Nazir Dafallah, Commissioners at the National Commission for Human Rights; Ms. Buthaina Gouda, an expert in women’s and community affairs; and Dr. Malath Ahmed, a professor of public relations at universities. It is worth noting that the AcoGaps has implemented forty-four activities since moving its headquarters to Port Sudan, benefiting more than three thousand trainees, both male and female, in various fields.
