SSMO re-establishes its technical laboratory system with the receipt of 157 new devices

Ms. Rahba Saeed Abdullah, Director General of the Sudanese Standards and Metrology Organization (SSMO), announced the restructuring of its technical laboratories by receiving 157 new devices in various technical fields.
Rahba revealed that the laboratories have been distributed to branches across the states to enhance their oversight role and ensure the reliability and accuracy of test results.
She emphasized that the technical devices will contribute to facilitating and simplifying procedures at ports and border crossings, enhancing work efficiency and reducing the time required to complete transactions.
Rahba expressed her appreciation to the partners from the Council of Ministers, the Ministry of Finance, the Bank of Sudan, the Sudanese Customs Forces, and other entities for facilitating the procedures for receiving these important devices, emphasizing the importance of this step in strengthening the technical capabilities of the organization and improving the services provided to customers.
