Prime Minister Oversees Conditions at Sudan’s Airports

The Director General of Sudan Airports Company Limited, Engineer Sir El-Khatim Babiker Al-Tayeb, stated that he briefed the Transitional Prime Minister, Dr. Kamil Idris, on the airports’ needs and plans to rehabilitate it and enable them to perform their duties and compete regionally.

The Sudan News Agency reported that the Prime Minister reviewed the overall conditions at the country’s airports during the meeting held on Friday, considering them a key link in the national economy.

The Prime Minister promised to provide the necessary support to Sudan’s airports in general, and Khartoum Airport in particular, as part of the emergency plans he intends to oversee in the coming period.
