RSF Militia Executes 9 International Organization Workers

Darfur Governor Minni Arko Minnawi revealed that the Rapid Support Militia executed nine workers from Relief International operating in Zamzam Camp in North Darfur.

In a tweet, Minawi said, “Our deepest condolences to all the families of the innocent in Zamzam Camp, and our sincere condolences to the workers of Relief International, which works to assist the people of Sudan, especially Darfur, and particularly Zamzam Camp.”

Minnawi added, “Nine innocent workers were treacherously executed in cold blood in Zamzam Camp while performing their volunteer duties by the Janjaweed.”

In a previous tweet, Minnawi said that, coinciding with UN calls to allow aid access, the Rapid Support Militia today attacked the Zamzam IDPs camp amid an unprecedented deterioration in the humanitarian situation. This criminal behavior by the militia confirms its insistence on exterminating civilians by depriving them of food and medicine.
