An enlightening workshop to study the determinants of demand for malaria vaccine in Gedaref and Blue Nile States

The Federal Ministry of Health, represented by the Health Promotion Department, the Expanded Immunization Program and the National Malaria Control Program, in cooperation with the Middle East Community Health Network (EMPHT), organized today at the Al-Rih Al-Tarifi Hall in Kassala , the two-day enlightenment workshop to study the determinants of demand for malaria vaccine in Gedaref and Blue Nile States.

The Director of the Expanded Program on Immunization (EPI), Ismail Al-Adani, revealed the approval of the second plan to introduce the malaria vaccine in 13 states.
Dr. Al-Fateh Malik, a representative of the Middle East Community Health Network (EMPNET), noting that the duration of the study is one year, to develop a communication strategy, with its evaluation after 3 months of its inception, adding or deleting.
In addition, the Director of the Health Promotion Department, Tawdad Abdullah Al-Khodr, said that the research to identify the appropriate messages, and the workshop will last for two days.
