Gaber reveals an imminent announcement of the independent Prime Minister

Member of the Transitional Soveirgnity Council, Assistant Commander-in-Chief of the army, Lieutenant-General Ibrahim Jaber, said that the announcement of the name of the new prime minister in Sudan is imminent, stressing that he will be an independent figure who is not affiliated with any party or political movement, and will form a government of civilian competencies away from any external interference.
Jaber added that this appointment comes according to the recent constitutional amendments, which granted the Head of the Sovereignty Council, Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan, the power to appoint and dismiss the Prime Minister on the recommendation of the legislature.
In a related context, Jaber indicated that the amendments included the investment law of 2021, with the aim of facilitating procedures and reducing the bureaucracy that hindered the flow of foreign and local investments.
He stressed that Sudan will seek to attract investors in various sectors once the war ends.
On the military level, Gaber described the situation on the ground as reassuring, noting that the army, with the support of the joint force of the armed struggle movements and the mobelized popular forces, managed to inflict successive losses in the Rapid Support Forces, expecting that the battle would soon be resolved in favor of the army, which would pave the way for Reconstruction and development in the country.
