Egypt rejects formation of parallel government

The Arab Republic of Egypt said that it rejects any attempts that threaten the unity, sovereignty and territorial integrity of brotherly Sudan, including the attempt to form a parallel government, warning that this complicates the scene in Sudan, hinders ongoing efforts to unify visions among Sudanese political forces and exacerbates the humanitarian situation.
The Egyptian Foreign Ministry added in a statement, “We call on all Sudanese forces to engage positively in launching a comprehensive political process without exclusion or external interference”.
