Army seizes advanced drone monitoring system

The Sudanese Armed Forces were able to monitor and seize the Chinese WS-DF-5000A early warning system for detecting drones, which was used by the Rapid Support militia to protect vital infrastructure and sensitive military areas.

System specifications:
Detection range: ranges Fromm 5 to 10 kilometers, providing the ability to detect drones in a wide range.

Analysis techniques:
The system relies on demodulation and decoding techniques to analyze data received from drones.

Accurate tracking:
The system can extract the unique number (Dody Code) for each drone, while determining its location and the location of its operator with an accuracy of up to one meter, allowing the drone and its controller to be tracked in real time.

Fast update:
The system updates data every less than two seconds, displaying detailed information including flight angle, altitude, path, and speed.

System Components: The system consists of a radio wave detector (RF Detector), receiving antennas, a tripod, and a data collection bag (DAQ Case).

Concealment Methods:
The Rapid Support militia relied on water tanks to conceal this system and protect it from aerial detection and destruction, highlighting the importance of the location in which it was found, as it was protected by a high-performance detection system.

Facts about the System:
Contrary to what some believe, the system is not a jamming tool. It is actually an advanced monitoring system capable of accurately locating drones and their operators, without causing interference to control signals, intercepting communications, disabling drones, or forcing them to land.
