Minister of Energy and Petroleum participates in the activities of the Indian Energy Week

Minister of Energy and Petroleum, Dr. Mohiuddin Naeem Mohamed Saeed, participated in the activities of the Indian Energy Week in New Delhi.
The Minister announced an agreement with the Indian transformer manufacturing company, Vitek, to send a technical team to Sudan to establish a workshop to maintain maintainable transformers and provide spare parts.
The possibility of the company’s contribution to the reconstruction of Sudan, especially in the field of electricity, was also discussed with the company’s General Manager, Murugesan Umapathi.
For his part, the company’s General Manager, Murugesan Umapathi, confirmed their readiness to contribute to the reconstruction of Sudan in the electricity sector, especially in the field of providing electricity transformers.
It is expected that the Minister will meet with the Director of the Indian ONGC Company, which operates in the oil sector and is one of the companies that contributed to the extraction of Sudanese oil.
