Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister to arrive in the country on Saturday

Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister Burhanuddin Daran will arrive in the country the day after tomorrow, Saturday, on a two-day visit during which he will hold talks with Dr. Ali Youssef, Minister of Foreign Affairs, on bilateral relations between the two countries.
He will also meet with a number of state officials. The Foreign Minister welcomed the visit of the Turkish official and said in a press statement that the visit comes within the framework of the advanced bilateral relations between the two countries and the recent contacts between the leadership in the two countries and as an affirmation of the ties that bind the two countries and the two brotherly peoples.
He added that it also comes as an affirmation of Turkey’s interest in what is happening in Sudan and its solidarity with the Sudanese people in confronting the serious violations committed by the rebel Rapid Support Militia.

He described the visit as important as it coincides with the country’s celebrations of the glorious Independence Day and confirms Turkey’s support for Sudan in defending its land and protecting its people.
