Jaber confirms the government’s keenness to deliver humanitarian aid to citizens

Member of the Sovereignty Council, Assistant Commander-in-Chief, Lieutenant General Engineer Ibrahim Jaber Ibrahim, stressed the government’s keenness to overcome all obstacles and challenges that hinder the delivery of humanitarian aid and essential needs to those who deserve it, especially in the areas of displacement and asylum in the states.
He stressed, during his meeting in his office in Port Sudan today with a delegation of the Bataheen tribe headed by Honorable Montaser Khaled Talha, the importance of combining governmental and popular efforts to deliver humanitarian aid, pledging to support the displaced and voluntary returnees and provide them with the necessary services.
For his part, the Chieftain of the Bataheen tribes said in a press statement that the delegation informed the member of the Sovereignty Council of all the humanitarian and service needs that the displacement camps and areas require, represented in food, shelter and medicine, in addition to the necessary needs to confront the winter season.
The delegation congratulated the member of the Sovereignty Council on the victories achieved on all fronts and axes, stressing their support for the armed forces in their battle against the rebellion and pushing the sons of the tribe to defend the homeland, raise its status and protect its lands.
