Any war ends with negotiations

There is a misunderstanding among a group of our politicians and a few journalists on the phrase (any war ends with negotiations), in addition to the fact that the phrase itself is incorrect..

There are many wars that ended on the battlefield with a crushing victory by one party over the other, and history is full of such model.

There are wars in which the balance of power is equal and no party was able to defeat the other, and this type is long in duration, fierce in its confrontations such that both parties become exhausted and tend to end the war through negotiation.
The nature of the negotiation in this case is the nature of (settlement) where each party gives up some of its goals to meet at a specific point that both parties agree to compromise without determining ba defeated or victorious party

Another type is when one party wins over the other and the defeated party asks for (understandings) in order to preserve what remains of lives and property and to avoid further destruction and violation.
The two parties (the military in particular) sit down to conclude an agreement with terms that are (terms of submission) dictated by the victorious party to the defeated party to which the latter agrees to reluctantly.
This process is not called (negotiations).

Therefore, some people get confused and think that the victor is negotiating with the vanquished , while in reality he is dictating what he wants from a position of strength.

If we apply these standards to the war currently raging in the country, the Sudanese government has the luxury of choosing how to end the battle of dignity.
It has two opportunities now: the first case and the third case.

It has to crush the Janjaweed on the battlefield, cut off their roots, cleanse the land of their filth and eradicate their influence, and then wash its hands.

It also has the opportunity of the third case, which is the defeated party’s request (understandings) – the Turkish initiative – to achieve its goals and dictate its terms and demands to the real and original party, the regional sponsor of the terrorist Al-Dagalo militia..

Although we are in a position that qualifies us to give advice to the government, we advise it to choose what suits the aspirations of Sudanese people and army, besides responing to what the general popular mood tends towards and follow the path of the Sudanese people, who are the first and last interested party and the trusted partner who has made great sacrifices.

By doing this the government will heal the hearts of a grieving and bereaved people and be faithful to the blood of those who have passed away as martyrs, besides those who remain alive with amputated limbs, and offer this great people a victory that will mend their brokenness.

Do not flatter anyone, no matter how close they are and no matter how friendly they are..
