CAR refuses to grant Taha Al-Hussein a diplomatic passport

The Central African Republic rejected the request of Taha Osman Al-Hussein, the former president’s office director, to issue a diplomatic passport for him.

Sources indicated that Taha submitted the request through the Central African president’s advisor to grant him an “Afro-Central” diplomatic passport.

According to the sources, the request was rejected by the Central African president “Faustin Touadera”.

It is worth noting that Taha Al-Hussein had recently visited the Central African Republic and a number of African countries with a “Congolese” passport, accompanied by an Emirati delegation led by Shakhbut bin Zayed.

Taha is the link between Abu Dhabi and some African capitals.
