Al-Eiser inaugurates the weekly enlightenment platform

Minister of Culture and Information, the official spokesman for the government, Mr. Khalid Ali Al-Eiser, inaugurated the weekly enlightenment platform of the Ministry of Culture and Information, which is organized by the Sudan News Agency (SUNA).
The official spokesman for the government said during his opening of the press conference of the Ministry of Health on the celebration of World AIDS Day at the Al-Damman Tower, “We do not want to gag mouths, but rather we want to provide a professional, honest, periodic platform through which information related to Sudanese affairs is presented, which is the content of the Cabinet’s decision to enable “SUNA” to be the primary source of news for Sudan,” noting in this regard that the platform comes within the framework of integrating roles with the ministries and not as an opponent to them.
He called on media professionals to participate in the weekly conference and cooperate in order to serve the country.
The Minister of Culture and Information urged the media community to work jointly on as one cohesive body to serve the country despite ideological differences. The Minister praised the efforts of the Ministry of Health for providing services to citizens under the current circumstances.
He also thanked it for providing the opportunity to launch the platform, and praised the efforts of the partners in the AIDS Control Program.

For his part, the Federal Minister of Health, Dr. Haitham Mohamed Ibrahim, expressed his pride in choosing the Ministry of Health platform to launch the weekly periodic platform of the Ministry of Culture and Information, considering the launch of the platform a courageous step to put Sudan in a positive media image, stressing the readiness of the Ministry of Health to coordinate with the ministry.
