Al-Burhan sends a message of appreciation to the Russian President

Head of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Commander-in-Chief of the SudanesevArmed Forces, 1st. Lt. Gen. Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan, sent a message of thanks and appreciation to Russian President Vladimir Putin, related to promoting and developing bilateral relations and advancing prospects for joint cooperation between the two countries.
This came during his meeting in his office today with the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Sudan, Ambassador Andrea Chernobyl, where he delivered the message.
Al-Burhan expressed Sudan’s appreciation, government and people, for President Putin’s positions and his unlimited support for Sudan.
Al-Burhan referred to the Russian veto in the Security Council regarding Sudan recently.
He described it as a noble position that would contribute to strengthening and consolidating relations between the two countries and advancing them to broader horizons.
