Al-Burhan reviews Ministry of Culture and Information plan

Head of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Commander-in-Chief of the Sudanese Armed Forces, 1st. Lt. Gen. Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan was briefed on the plan of the Ministry of Culture and Information within the framework of developing and modernizing cultural and media institutions.

This came during his meeting in his office today with the Minister of Culture and Information, Khalid Al-Eiser, who said in a press statement that the meeting dealt with a number of files related to culture and media and how to develop media institutions that were damaged by the war, in addition to the files of culture and tourism, indicating that the Head of the Sovereignty Council promised to upgrade and develop these institutions.
The Minister added that he conveyed to the Head of the Sovereignty Council the concerns and issues of journalists and the outcomes of the press situation in the country.

He said that his ministry is in the process of developing established media institutions and establishing new media platforms that are in line with technical development and contribute to supporting the armed forces and the Sudanese people in their existential battle.

Al-Eiser said that this meeting comes in the context of interest in upgrading and developing media institutions, which will witness development and modernization in the coming period in line with the requirements of the era, calling on young people working in these fields to cooperate in order to implement these new projects.
