Sudanese Environment Council reveals chemical pollution in Khartoum

Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Environment and Natural Resources in Sudan, Dr. Mona Ali Mohammed revealed that Khartoum State, was exposed to chemical pollution due to the rebel Rapid Support Militia’s attacks on industrial areas, pointing out the need for concerted efforts to find solutions to this problem.

She said, during a training workshop on the dangers of chemicals at the Customs Hall in Port Sudan today, that Khartoum State in particular needs great effort to avoid any negative potentials.
