Jaber promises to support Ministry if Animal Resources

Member of the Sovereignty Council, Assistant Commander-in-Chief, 1st. Lieutenant General Engineer, Ibrahim Jaber, was briefed on the performance of the Ministry of Animal Resources and the challenges it faces in light of the current situation.
This came during his meeting today in his office with the Minister of Animal Resources, Dr. Osama Muzamil.
Jaber promised to support the efforts of the Ministry of Animal Resources to fully play its role in restoring the capabilities and mechanisms that enable it to provide veterinary care services and develop and advance the country’s exports of animal resources.
For his part, Minister of Animal Resources said that the ministry’s activities are proceeding well despite the repercussions of the current crisis on the country, revealing the completion of preparations and the provision of the required vaccines for the launch of the campaign to vaccinate the local herd and the export herd and confront autumn diseases and combat mosquitoes and other disease vectors in a number of the country’s safe states.
He also pointed out that the Ministry has made clear progress in completing the network connection between livestock and the rest of the state agencies to facilitate export operations, adding that the Ministry supports the poultry industry chambers to rehabilitate the sector and restore its health to achieve food security and provide the country’s need for white meat.
