River Nile State Celebrates the Conclusion of Pink October Campaign

Executive Director of the River Nile Family Planning Association, Ms. Kawthar Mohamed Ibrahim, affirmed that the Pink October campaign achieved its goals in raising awareness in the shelters of those who fled the war, along with the guidance campaigns organized by the association in coordination with the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports in River Nile State and Al-Abeediya.

She revealed in her speech the continuation of mobile clinics with a manual device for early detection, praising the growing role of Nile Valley University and its participation in the success of awareness campaigns.

She commended the campaign, affirming that achieved its goals.

“Pink October is the month of awareness of breast cancer, in which we plant hope and face the challenge through early detection.” she added.

Meanwhile, the Supreme Organizing Committee for the activities said that the celebration, which will take place tomorrow, Monday, in Al-Amir Sports Club, will be attended by official and popular leaders, and it will include cultural and sports activities.

During the celebration, a number of breast cancer survivors will be honored for their overcoming the challenge and difficulties.
