Agar meets the Director General of Arab Organization for Agricultural Development

Deputy Head of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Commander Malik Agar Ayre, was briefed on the activities and programs undertaken by the Arab Organization for Agricultural Development in Sudan and the efforts made to develop the agricultural sector in Sudan.

His Excellency, during his meeting in his office in Port Sudan today with Professor Ibrahim Adam Al-Dekhiri, Director General of the Arab Organization for Agricultural Development, stressed the need to combine efforts and build effective and distinguished partnerships with relevant parties, pledging to overcome all obstacles and challenges facing the implementation of future activities and programs to achieve food security and agricultural development.

For his part, Professor Ibrahim Al-Dekhiri said in a press statement that the meeting discussed the possibility of intensifying the work and activities of the Arab Organization for Agricultural Development in Sudan, noting that the organization has continued to provide its services in the field of training, capacity building and executive projects in the fields of agricultural development and livestock aspects, in addition to fisheries, forestry and pastures sectors.

His Excellency stressed the organization’s keenness to expand the scope of its activities and programs in Sudan and support the state’s efforts to achieve food security and sustainable agricultural development.
