GIS Provides Support to Northern State

Governor Northern State , Abdeen Awadallah, received, in the presence of and number of members of his government, the state security committee, and the delegation of the General Intelligence, led by the Assistant Director-General of the Service, Major General Amen Ahmed Mohamed Ahmed, the GIS support I
for those affected by torrential rains in the northern state.
The convoy included large quantities of food, tents, and various types of medicines, especially scorpion serums, spray equipment and water suction pumps.
The Governor confirmed that the convoy of support for the General Intelligence Service for those affected by rain and torrential rains is the first official convoy to reach the state, and this confirms the interest of the state and the General Intelligence Service for those affected by torrential rains and floods, and to alleviate their suffering.
He pointed out that the state government, the Autumn Emergency Higher Committee and related organizations were committed, since the first day, to provide support to the affected, through three stages, the first stage, the rapid intervention, the arrival of the affected, and the provision of the affected; the second stage, health, shelter, maintenance of the health of the state person, and the third stage is the reconstruction.
He said that the number of people affected by torrential rains in the northern state has reached more than 13,000 families, while the number of homes that have been completely and partially damaged has reached 10,000, praising the efforts of the United Nations organizations, civil society organizations, the Qatar Red Crescent and the Qatar Charity Society. and the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Action forb their continuous support for those affected by torrential rains in Northern State.
For his part, the Assistant Director-General of the General Intelligence Service, Major General Aman Ahmed Mohamed Ahmed, conveyed the praise and sympathy of the Director-General of the General Intelligence Service, Lieutenant-General Ahmed Ibrahim Mufaddal, for those affected the torrential rains in the state, affirming GIS support to reduce the extent of the damage.
He called for concerted official and local popular and central efforts to overcome the disaster.
In turn, the Director of the General Intelligence Service in the Northern State, Brigadier General Amen Omar Mustafa, confirmed that the GIS will remain close to the state’s citizen and the Sudanese people, indicating that the convoy’s support for the floods and rains in the state is an obligation.
