Deputy Head of the TSC meets the Acting Minister of Cabinet Affairs

Deputy Head of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), Commander Malik Agar Ayre, was briefed on the progress of work in the Council of Ministers and the organization of work in various sectors, especially the media, the Department of Endowments and Religious Affairs, and the Supreme Council for Hajj and Umrah.
His Excellency received, during his meeting in his office in Port Sudan today, Mr. Osman Hussein Osman, the Acting Minister of Cabinet Affairs, a full briefing on the outcomes of the Council of Ministers meetings regarding the restructuring of the oil and electricity sectors, praising the efforts made by all ministries to organize the sectors and manage the workflow.
For his part, the Acting Minister of Cabinet Affairs explained that he informed the Deputy Head of the Sovereignty Council of the procedures that were taken regarding the restructuring of the electricity sector and the unification of its sectors into one company, the Sudan Electricity Company, and the dissolution of the remaining companies into general administrations, in addition to the restructuring of the oil sector, its management, and its dissolution into Sudapet Company.
His Excellency added that the meeting discussed providing water to the city of Port Sudan, pointing out the approval of the report covering the urgent phase of providing 15 wells and delivering water through transmission lines and developing a vision for deepening the dams, especially the Arbaat Dam, to provide energy in two phases to solve the water and electricity problem once and for all.
