SLA-M Repels RSF Attack on El-Fashir

The Sudan Liberation Army/ Movement (SLA-M), led by Commander Minni Arko Minnawi announced repelling the largest ground attack launched by the Rapid Support Militia on El Fasher since the death of Ali Yaqoub.

The statement indicated the elimination of the attacking force yesterday, Saturday, and the killing of the commander of the movement, Lieutenant Colonel, Musa Hamdoun. The Sudanese Armed Forces and the joint force had repelled the attack outside El Fasher by a distance of 70 kilometers.

This Janjaweed movement that attacked El Fasher today was prepared and equipped since the death of Ali Yaqoub, so the attacking force was eliminated and the rest of them were pursued and fled.
