Al-Burhan meets a group of media experts

Head of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Commander-in-Chief of the Sudanese Armed Forces, 1st. Lieutenant General Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan, met today with a group of media professionals.
He praised the support of the media professionals for the armed forces in the ongoing battle of national dignity, indicating that they devoted their pens to serving the issues of their homeland and their tackling the challenges facing the security and stability of Sudan.
Al-Burhan provided enlightenment on the overall situation in the country against the backdrop of the rebellion led by the terrorist Rapid Support militia against the state and its institutions.
He referred to the racist sentiments that the militia introduced into its war against the people, stressing that the practices of this militia is alien to the values, morals and heritage of the Sudanese people, praising the great public rally around the armed forces.
For his part, member if the delegation, Diya’a El-Din Bilal, said in a press statement that the delegation included number of Sudanese and Arab journalists,
He added that this visit aims at finding out the reality of the situation on the ground, affirming that the delegation visited the front lines in Omdurman, as well as the River Nile State, where a number of meetings were held, indicating that the meeting with the Head of the Transitional Sovereignty Council was a fruitful and important meeting, in which a lot of information were provided to the visiting media delegation about the nature of the situation and the battle of dignity, especially since it is an existential battle targeting the existence of the Sudanese state with all its components.
He said that many opinions and ideas were exchanged during the meeting, and the need to support the army to play its role in protecting the Sudanese state.
Bilal desclosed that there is a major aggression against Sudan that requires the cooperation of all military, civil and security sectors, considering that this danger targets the security and stability of the country.
He stated that the media sector bears a great burden in confronting this major conspiracy led by the rebel militia against the state and its institutions, with regional and international help and support.
The member of the media delegation saluted the Sudanese people for their steadfastness and patience in confronting this conspiracy.
