Finance Minister meets WB president in Morocco

Minister of Finance and Economic Planning, Dr. Jibril Ibrahim met with the president of the World Bank Ajai Banga on the sidelines of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund which is taking place these days in Morocco.
Jibril congratulated the WB president for being elected as president of the Bank’s group, wishing him every success.
The meeting was held.after the general session of the WB development committee.
The Minister called on the WB president to provide support to Sudan as a war zone, adding that Sudan understands the complicated mission of the WB towards the conflict areas.
For his part, the WB president said that the World Bank Group will do its best to provide support to the member states.
