Al-Burhan Returns home after official visit to UAE

President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council( TSC) Gen. Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan returned home Wednesday after a two-day official visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) during which he held talks with the UAE President, H.H. Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan.

The TSC President was received at Khartoum airport by the TSC member, Dr Al-Hadi Idris, TSC Secretary-General, Lt. Gen. Mohamed Al-Ghali Yusuf and a number of ministers.

Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Ali Al-Sadiq, who accompanied the TSC President in his visit, said in a press statement at Khartoum airport that the President of the TSC and UAE President affirmed during the sittings of official talks importance of continuing the joint coordination between Khartoum and Abu Dhabi for pushing further bilateral relations in all fields , specially over the vial issues of common interest by a way that achieves the common interest of people of the two countries .

He revealed that the two presidents agreed upon formation of a joint high-profile teamwork to formulate a vision on progress of bilateral relations, to propose projects and scopes of cooperation and to work for implementing them properly.

The Minister pointed out that President Al-Burhan expressed during the talks his thanks to H.H. Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed for sincere efforts being exerted by the UAE to enhance relations between the two countries in all domains

He added that the two presidents underscored full solidarity with the sister Syrian and Turkish people over affliction of earthquake which hit the two countries recenly .
