Al-Burhan forms a committee to combat the spread of drugs

The Chairman of the Sovereignty Council, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, announced a campaign to combat drugs, and formed a committee that includes the Ministers of Interior, Defense, Education, Higher Education, the National Security and Intelligence Service, along with the National Committee and the relevant authorities, and directed that the work of the committee continue throughout this year.

Al-Burhan accused some organizations of supporting the spread of drugs through their support for some youth groups under the guise of supporting democracy, as he put it.

Al-Burhan stressed the need to confront drugs without laxity, noting that the capabilities are available, as well as the bodies that carry out the task.
