Ahfad University for Women Returns to Omdurman, Launches Reconstruction and Campus Reopening Plan

Ahfad University for Women has announced its return to its main campus in Omdurman and the launch of reconstruction and rehabilitation efforts in preparation for resuming on-campus activities next academic semester.
University President Professor Qasim Badri stated that the decision follows directives from the Ministry of Higher Education requiring institutions to return to their campuses in Sudan.
Despite the challenges of war, the university successfully continued its academic mission through online learning. The next phase will focus on repairing and upgrading buildings, laboratories, classrooms, and essential facilities damaged during the conflict.
Professor Badri also called on staff, partners, and supporters to contribute to rebuilding efforts and help restore the university’s leading academic and community role.
