Federal Minister of Health Inspects Gedarief Public Health Laboratory and Delivers Equipment to Combat Epidemics

The Federal Minister of Health, Dr. Haitham Mohamed Ibrahim, conducted a field visit to the Public Health Laboratory in Gedaref State, accompanied by the Acting State Minister of Health, Dr. Ahmed Al-Amin. During the visit, they reviewed the laboratory’s conditions and its operational needs.
As part of the visit, new laboratory equipment was handed over under the Cholera and Dengue Fever Response Project. The laboratory also presented its need for a dedicated vehicle to transport samples and medical supplies.

The Federal Minister reaffirmed his ministry’s commitment to providing the necessary requirements to develop the Public Health Laboratory in Gedaref, strengthening its capacity to face health challenges and protect the community.
