Strategy and Information and NSWF Organize the First Essential Workshop for the Strategic Team at the Khartoum State Secretariat

The first essential workshop for the strategic team of the National Students Welfare Fund (NSWF)– Khartoum State Secretariat, commenced on Saturday in the meeting hall. The workshop was held under the auspices of Dr. Ahmed Hamza, Secretary-General of the Fund, and with the participation of Dr. Essam Batran, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Strategy and Information in Khartoum State.

The opening session was attended by number of leaders and officials, including Dr. Hamdan Abdullah Tirab, Director of the General Administration for Planning and Projects; Ms. Amira Mirghani, Director of the Planning Department; Mr. Sharif, President of the General Union of Sudanese Students; and Dr. Abu Al-Qasim Abdul Rahman, Director of Planning and Policies at the Council.

Mr. Ahmed Mohamed Ahmed Hussein, Secretary of the Fund in Khartoum State, addressed the opening session, emphasizing the importance of this workshop in enhancing the strategic capabilities of staff and developing institutional performance to meet the demands of the current stage.

He added that the course includes four main papers. The first, titled “Stages of Strategic Development and Strategic Management,” will be presented by Dr. Mirghani Adam Abdelrahman. The second, “Strategic Planning and Strategic Formulation,” will be presented by Dr. Hafez Al-Omari. The third, “Digital Transformation and Applications,” will be presented by Dr. Emad El-Din Khalafallah, and the fourth, “Producing Performance Indicators,” will be presented by Dr. Abul-Qasim Sanousi.

For his part, Dr. Essam Batran emphasized the pivotal role of the Fund as a key indicator for measuring the return to Khartoum State, particularly regarding the stability of students and their families following their migration due to the war.

Dr. Ahmed Hamza, Secretary-General of the Fund, commended the efforts of the NSWF in Khartoum State to build the capacities of its staff and strengthen the strategic planning methodology, which contributes to achieving its objectives and developing the services it provides to students.
