Reopening of the Regional Office of the Federation of Arab Scientific Research Councils in Khartoum

Prime Minister Dr. Kamil Idris met with the Secretary-General of the Federation of Arab Scientific Research Councils, Dr. Abdelmajid Benamara, in the presence of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Mudawi Ahmed Musa. This meeting reflects the government’s commitment to supporting scientific research and enhancing its role in achieving development.

In a press statement following the meeting, Dr. Abdelmajid Benamara announced the reopening of the Federation’s regional office in the Sudanese capital, Khartoum. He noted that the Federation is among the first Arab and international organizations to resume operations in Khartoum following the recent exceptional circumstances in the country.

The Secretary-General of the Federation of Arab Scientific Research Councils expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the efforts of the Sudanese Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and all parties that contributed to creating the appropriate conditions for the resumption of the regional office’s work.
