Governor of West Darfur State: We Are on Our Way to Achieving Complete Victory

The governor of West Darfur State, General Bahreddine Adam Karama, has affirmed his intention to move forward with a battle he described as a “battle for existence and dignity,” stressing that the will will not be broken until complete victory is achieved and stability is restored throughout the country.

Karama said that the current stage requires the highest levels of discipline and tight coordination between the various parties, as well as working in a team spirit to achieve common goals, especially in light of the current security challenges.

The governor revealed that an important meeting was held with the governor of the Darfur region, Minni Arko Minawi, during which the two sides discussed ways to enhance coordination between the state and regional governments, particularly in the security and military aspects, in a way that contributes to unifying the decision on the ground and raising the level of readiness.

He also reiterated the commitment of the state government to support the popular resistance as a key pillar in supporting the regular forces while working to organize and rehabilitate them in order to enhance their role in protecting the land and improving security.

Karama pointed out that these moves come within a comprehensive vision to reset the security scene, impose stability, and confront attempts to destabilize security in preparation for a new phase aimed at restoring the prestige of the state and building a strong and stable country.
