The British Hospital in El Obeid Destroyed

On Monday, El Obeid, the capital of North Kordofan State, was subjected to intense bombardment by suicide and strategic drones. The attack targeted health facilities, including the British Hospital in the city, resulting in its complete destruction.

According to local media, the hospital’s administrative director stated that the bombing targeted all vital medical departments located in the western part of the hospital. This resulted in the destruction of the short-stay ward, the dental clinic, the surgery ward, and the physiotherapy clinic. Several medical staff members sustained injuries of varying severity while performing their humanitarian duties, amidst widespread panic among patients and their companions.

He indicated that the deliberate attack rendered important specialized departments inoperable and caused severe damage to the infrastructure and sensitive medical equipment.
