PM to Visit Egypt

Informed sources affirmed that Prime Minister Dr. Kamil Idris is preparing to make an official visit to the Arab Republic of Egypt in the coming hours, a move that reflects the importance of coordination between the two countries in light of current regional developments.

The anticipated visit comes as part of the Sudanese government’s efforts to strengthen bilateral relations with Cairo and open new channels for political and economic cooperation, in addition to discussing shared issues related to regional security, border issues, and water resources.

The visit is expected to include high-level meetings between the Sudanese Prime Minister and senior Egyptian officials, allowing for discussions on priority issues at this stage, especially given the challenges facing the region.
