Secretary General of the Sovereignty Council Oversees Celebration of Recovery of a Number of Looted Sudanese Artifacts

The Secretary General of the Sovereignty Council, Lieutenant General Dr. Mohamed Al-Ghali Ali Youssef, graced the celebration organized by the Ministry of Culture and Information in Port Sudan to mark the recovery of a number of looted Sudanese artifacts.

The Minister of Culture, Information, and Tourism, Mr. Khalid Al-Eisir, the Minister of Finance, Dr. Jibril Ibrahim, and the Deputy Director General of the General Intelligence Service addressed the gathering.

The celebration was held in recognition of the significant achievement of the General Intelligence Service in recovering 570 artifacts dating from prehistoric times to the modern era, as part of national efforts to protect cultural heritage and preserve Sudanese identity.
