The Council of Persons with Disabilities Provides a Food Basket for People with Disabilities at the Union of the Blind

The representative of the Council of Persons with Disabilities, Dr. Osman Bashir Tambel, congratulated the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, which falls on December 3 of each year. He confirmed that the arrangements for the celebration are in place. Tambel conveyed the greetings of the Director General of the Ministry of Social Development and the Acting Minister, Siddiq Hassan Farini, who is keen to attend all programs and activities for people with disabilities and carries their concerns.

Tambel stressed that the distribution of aids is done in accordance with equal opportunities and in order to achieve the principle of justice. He thanked all the unions and organizations, as well as the Maraqi Charitable Organization, for providing support, stressing the Council’s endeavor to reach all those deserving of assistance , according to the directive of the governor and under the auspices of the Minister of Social Development, we have a share of cash support amounting to 5%.
