Applications for general admission vacancies for public higher education institutions for the years 2023–2024 and 2024–2025

The General Directorate of Admission, Evaluation and Documentation of Certificates at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has announced the opening of applications for general admission vacancies for the bachelor’s and technical diploma levels in government higher education institutions, for the second round of 2023 and 2024.
The General Directorate of Admission explained that the application will start on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 through the official website of the General Directorate of Admissions, noting that the opportunity is available to students who hold the Sudanese certificate for the years 2023 and 2024, in addition to the equivalent Arab and foreign certificates for the same two years.
The Ministry confirmed that students who were nominated in the general admission for the first round are not allowed to apply for the vacancies of the second round, and that the application is exclusively for government higher education institutions, and the administration indicated that the application fees inside Sudan amount to ten thousand Sudanese pounds, while the application fees from outside Sudan were set at one hundred dollars, and the administration required applicants with Arab and foreign certificates to bring the original certificate and a copy of it, in addition to the application form for the matching procedures at the headquarters of the General Directorate of Admission or temporary admission offices in the states, confirming The original will be returned to the students as soon as the procedures are completed, and that any student who does not present the original certificate will lose his right to compete.
The Ministry announced an exceptional permit for Sudanese students with Arab and foreign certificates for the year 2025 to apply for general admission vacancies for the second round.
