Orbits: KSA Initiative Deserves Appreciation

Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) is making commendable efforts and endeavors to establish peace in Sudan.

This is a positive step towards strengthening efforts aimed at ending the suffering of the Sudanese people and putting an end to the cycle of violence and destruction that has ravaged the country and affected all its landmarks and institutions. Furthermore, Saudi Arabia’s hosting of millions of Sudanese refugees underscores the strong ties that bind the Saudi and Sudanese peoples.

Saudi Arabia is a leading nation with wise leadership under Mohammed bin Salman, whose actions have thwarted the destructive project that aimed to control Sudan and its resources, weakening the country’s security and exhausting the armed forces in a protracted war that could last for years and potentially affect Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and neighboring countries if the terrorist militia is not decisively eradicated at its roots.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has consistently strived to establish peace in Sudan, to amplify the voice of truth, and to reveal the facts in order to find a solution that preserves the dignity of Sudan and the Sudanese people, to establish the value of peace, and to achieve the values ​​of justice and equity.

This is a commendable endeavor, for the Sudanese nation is great in its history, yet it is going through a severe and devastating crisis that requires us to combine all our efforts. With unity and resilience, we are capable of overcoming it through sincere determination and love for our homeland.

We welcome every effort and every sincere endeavor to establish peace, security, and stability, and to stop the bloodshed, provided that it is a true and just peace.

Respecting the will of the people and their stance regarding the war of dignity, which the greatest men of the armed forces, the joint forces, and the supporting forces paid for with their lives and souls, is a fundamental condition for peace, not an option.

The Sudanese people are the ones who write history, not those who beg for it.

We will rise and recover, no matter how many times we stumble, because we are great, and the great belong at the forefront, not behind.

The Sudanese people are the ones who have suffered and sacrificed. They are the ones who draw the lines of peace with the blood of their army. They know how to manage war, eliminate rebellion, and restore the dignity of their people and the sovereignty of their state.

Everyone seeks their own country’s interests because the world is governed by interests and ambitions. Some seek a foothold on the Red Sea coast, others try to seize Sudan’s gold mines, and still others hope for our rich resources.

We must be vigilant and not accept anyone who belittles or diminishes Sudan, whoever they may be.

Sudan was not discovered by chance; it is the cradle of humanity, a turning point, the breadbasket of the world, and a wellspring of civilizations, resources, and blessings.

We stand behind peace to fulfill the aspirations of our patient people, exhausted by wars, to achieve their ambitions and maintain their security and safety.
