The governor of Gezira State welcomed the return of TIKA

The governor of Gezira State, Taher Ibrahim Al-Khair, welcomed the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) to work in the state when he met in his office this morning with Mr. Ghaleb Belmaz, Director of the TIKA office in Sudan. He expressed his thanks and appreciation for TIKA’s interventions in the state by providing seeds and production inputs, pointing out that the artificial insemination center in the vectors implemented by TIKA is one of the successful development and service projects.

For his part, the director of the TIKA office in Sudan confirmed their readiness to provide more production inputs to help the state return to its previous state. Meanwhile, Dr. Arafa Mahmoud, Director General of the Ministry of Production and Economic Resources, confirmed that TIKA has strengthened her ministry’s efforts to promote the agricultural sector.
