Washington: Both sides of the conflict must sign a truce

The US President’s Senior Advisor for African Affairs, Mus’ad Boulos, told Al Arabiya and Al Hadath channels on Saturday that both sides of the conflict in Sudan must immediately sign a three-month humanitarian truce. He added, “We do not have the luxury of time given the violations taking place in El Fasher, and our meetings have reached the highest levels with both sides of the conflict in Sudan.”

He added that his country held meetings with both sides of the conflict in Sudan, but they did not reach the level of negotiations.

He added, “What we witnessed in El Fasher is painful, and the violations are unacceptable.”
