Al-Azhar condemns the violations in El Fasher, demands an immediate end to the violence

Al-Azhar condemned the criminal violations against civilians in El Fasher, Sudan, and demanded an immediate end to the violence. This came in a statement issued by Al-Azhar, in which it condemned in the strongest terms the heinous violations and crimes committed against innocent civilians in El Fasher, including killing, bombing, starvation, and deprivation of medical and relief services.
Al-Azhar’s demands:
– Immediate end to the violence: Al-Azhar called for an immediate end to the violence and violations committed against civilians in El Fasher.
– Urgent intervention: Al-Azhar called on the wise men of Sudan and the world’s leaders to intervene immediately and urgently to mediate and stop these massacres, crimes, and violations.
– Giving Precedence to Reason: Al-Azhar stressed the necessity of prioritizing reason and wisdom, and placing the higher interests of Sudan above all else, while preserving its unity.
– Humanitarian Support: Al-Azhar expressed its readiness to dispatch urgent relief convoys to Sudan to contribute to alleviating the deteriorating humanitarian situation.
Al-Azhar’s Warning
– Being Drawn into Conflicts: Al-Azhar warned against being drawn into conflicts fueled by malicious political interests, which will only bring Sudan more killing and endless bloodshed.
