SAF Spokesman: No Compromise in Defending the Nation’s Sovereignty and Unity

Brigadier General Asim Awad, the official spokesman for the Sudanese Armed Forces, said that the army will remain steadfast and unwavering, adhering to its firm national doctrine, and will never compromise in defending the nation’s sovereignty and unity.
In his first published statement today (Tuesday), Brigadier General Asim added that the Sudanese Armed Forces “calls on the media and human rights organizations to document the crimes of the RSF terrorist militia in El Fasher, to convey the voices of the victims, and not to remain silent regarding the atrocities committed against innocent people.”
The official spokesman reiterated that “victory is near, God willing, and the RSF terrorist militia will not rest easy over what it has usurped. Every inch of the homeland has men defending it to their last breath.”
Multiple media reports have documented what they called systematic ethnic cleansing crimes taking place in El Fasher two days ago, when the rebel Rapid Support Forces militia stormed the city following the withdrawal of the armed forces and the joint force from their positions following a comprehensive siege that lasted a year and a half, during which the rebel militia cut off all forms of humanitarian aid, including medicine and food, to the city.
