Khartoum Governor receives the new executive office of the Popular Resistance

Following the issuance of a decision to reconstitute it, headed by Major General Ishaq Abdullah, the Governor of Khartoum, Ahmed Osman Hamza, held a meeting with the executive office of the Popular Resistance and Mobilization Committee in the state.

The Governor reiterated that the committee’s primary mission is to support the armed forces and civilian support in the state’s reconstruction phase. He stated that the meeting focused on the administrative aspect and grassroots development in the seven localities. The meeting also discussed the requirements and needs of the phase following the declaration of general mobilization and alert. The meeting also called for activating the roles of youth and women’s sectors, activating programs within active sectors, and ensuring that the media keeps pace with its tasks and the requirements of the current phase.

The meeting also agreed to establish a unit to record the martyrs and care for their families.

For his part, the head of the state’s popular resistance confirmed that they will stand as a solid barrier against those lurking in the country, announcing their readiness to support the armed forces, open more camps, and begin graduating from those camps now. He also announced a general mobilization to confront the aggression in Darfur and Kordofan, and every inch of the enemy’s territory, and in all areas where the Sudanese army operates, to secure all parts of Sudan.

The meeting also agreed to equip all young fighters capable of bearing arms in all the state’s localities to participate in repelling the brutal aggression and preparing all citizens.
