Head of the Disease Control Department: A “home inspection of disease vectors” to begin on Sunday

The Head of the Vector Control Department at the Federal Ministry of Health, Hamza Sami Al-Jak, announced the training of 7,800 home inspectors to inspect mosquito breeding places inside homes with water storage containers (barrels, pipes, water conditioners, tanks, etc.) to cover 936,000 houses in Khartoum State weekly, as part of the major campaign to control the virus, which was launched last month.

Al-Jak confirmed that the inspection will start tomorrow, Sunday, in all localities of the state to meet the target on a weekly basis.
