In collaboration with UNICEF, the Federal Ministry of Health launches digital platforms

The Federal Ministry of Health (FMOH) launched the digital health platforms in cooperation with UNICEF and E-Connect Africa, while the joint consultative meeting to evaluate the Health Assistance and Health Response Project (SHARE Project) concluded at Al Bustan Hall in the city of Kasala.

Addressing the closing session, the Federal Minister of Health, Dr. Haitham Mohamed Ibrahim, thanked the partners from UNICEF and the World Health Organization, as well as the national and international organizations implementing the project, the primary health care workers, and all the health cadres in the country on the front lines. He directed them to redouble efforts to ensure the success and continuity of the project after the completion of the current phase.

The Acting Director of the General Directorate of Basic Health Care, Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Abdullah, said that the meeting serves as a platform for exchanging experiences and unifying visions to achieve the best results and provide high-quality care in the primary health care institutions targeted by the project in the 18 states of the country for 18 months since its inception.

The Head of the Health Department at UNICEF, Tedbabi Digife, stressed the importance of digital applications in health work, noting the continued support of UNICEF for the project and the need for joint work and coordination to ensure that the applications reach all cadres to benefit from them to the fullest.
