The Union further stresses that urgent humanitarian aid deliveries through air drops to Al-Fashir, Kadugli, and Dalanj must be treated as a top priority, and should serve as an opportunity to generate momentum and determination within the Sudanese government to give the situation in Al-Fashir the highest level of attention and seriousness it demands.

These mercenaries, filmed in recent days in the very heart of the city, are not isolated anomalies. They are part of a sustained, systematic operation that has been running for over a year, an operation bankrolled by the UAE, coordinated through Kenya and Puntland, Somalia, and injected into Sudan through RSF-controlled corridors.
Once in Sudan, they form part of the machine enforcing the two-year starvation siege of Al-Fashir, a siege designed to break the will of the Sudanese people through hunger, destruction, and fear.
The Siege and the Starvation
For more than 24 months, Al-Fashir has been cut off from food, medicine, and humanitarian aid. Markets have been levelled, civilian neighbourhoods shelled, and aid routes deliberately blocked. Volunteer-run kitchens survive on scraps, unable to feed everyone. Children die quietly from malnutrition while drones and artillery tear apart what remains of the city’s infrastructure.
Yesterday and today, the RSF once again rained shells on civilian areas, guided by strategic drones for maximum devastation.
UAE’s Hand in the Genocide
The UAE is not a bystander, it is the mastermind. It funds, arms, directs, and supplies the RSF with foreign fighters from Colombia, Somalia, Libya, and Chad. These mercenaries are the expendable pawns of Abu Dhabi’s war policy, killing Sudanese civilians for money.
A Message to President Petro and Colombia
President Petro’s vague instruction to his embassy in Egypt to “investigate” the deaths of Colombian nationals in Sudan is grossly insufficient. This is a matter of national responsibility and international law. Colombia’s name must not be linked to genocide.
We demand:
1. A full national inquiry into UAE-linked recruitment of Colombian mercenaries for the RSF.
2. Severe legal penalties for citizens who participate in foreign wars tied to war crimes.
3. Total disengagement from UAE’s mercenary export network.
4. Public condemnation of the siege of Al-Fashir and a demand for its immediate lifting.
5. Urgently carry out humanitarian relief operations through air drops in Al-Fashir, Kadugli, and Dalanj.

The siege of Al-Fashir is not just an RSF crime, it is also a test of your will and capacity. We say this without hesitation: your response has been slow.
The Sudanese people have shown unimaginable resilience, but your government must show momentum, urgency, and inventiveness in defending them.
For two years, we have urged air drops of food and medicine into Al-Fashir and other besieged areas like Kadugli. This is not optional, it is a matter of life and death.
Today, the UN Security Council once again echoed its Resolution 2736 (2024), calling for an end to the siege and reaffirming its rejection of any “second government” narrative. But without enforcement, such statements are meaningless, mere paper declarations. In today’s meeting, the UN Security Council reaffirmed its rejection of the establishment of a parallel authority in areas under RSF control, considering it a direct threat to Sudan’s unity and territorial integrity, a clear blow to the UAE-backed Janjaweed government-in-the-making.
While the world hesitates, Al-Fashir starves. If your government will not act decisively, a full scale genocide will be next.

• Immediate air drops of aid into all besieged areas.
• Coordinated international action to break the siege and hold the UAE, RSF, and their collaborators accountable.
• Sanctions on every individual and entity linked to the siege and starvation.
• Global solidarity with the civilians of Al-Fashir, who have repelled 227 failed RSF assaults and still stand defiant.
