State Minister at Foreign Ministry Receives Iranian Ambassador to Sudan

The State Minister at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Ambassador Omar Mohamed Ahmed Siddiq, received the Iranian Ambassador to Sudan, Hassan Shah Hosseini, in his office yesterday (Tuesday).
The Iranian Ambassador conveyed a congratulatory message from Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi, in which he affirmed Iran’s support for the Sudanese government in achieving security and stability, as well as continuing bilateral cooperation and coordination in regional and international forums.
The Iranian Ambassador affirmed that his government looks forward to strengthening and developing bilateral relations to serve the interests of both countries through the activation of joint ministerial committees.
For his part, the State Minister of Foreign Affairs expressed the Sudanese government’s gratitude and appreciation to the Iranian government for its principled position in support of Sudan’s sovereignty, unity, security, and stability. He affirmed that the Sudanese government is continuing to establish security and stability throughout the country in accordance with the roadmap it developed earlier this year.
The Minister affirmed the Sudanese government’s position on developing bilateral relations between the two countries through established diplomatic channels and continuing coordination in all areas that serve the interests of the two brotherly peoples, particularly in regional and international forums.
