Al-Burhan affirms the state leadership’s determination to lift the siege of El Fasher, Kadugli, Babanusa, and Deleng

Head of the Sovereignty Council, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan, affirmed the state leadership’s determination to lift the siege of El Fasher, Kadugli, Babanusa, and Deleng.

During his inspection of the Ministry of Interior headquarters and his address to the media briefing organized by the Sudan News Agency, he added that efforts are continuing around the clock to achieve this goal and will soon be crowned with success, God willing, and our citizens will enjoy security, stability, and development.

He affirmed that the battle will continue until the entire country is cleansed of the filth of rebels and mercenaries, noting that Khartoum is a city with a illustrious history and deserves the precious blood and great sacrifices made by all components of the National Dignity War to cleanse it of rebels.

His Excellency said, “The citizens of our country, who sacrificed their sons for the homeland in this war, are worthy of our efforts and support for the rehabilitation of the national capital.” He emphasized that reconstruction efforts will continue.

Al-Burhan saluted the Sudanese police, stating that they are a key partner in building the Sudanese state and securing its citizens.

His Excellency also offered his condolences to the martyrs of the National Dignity War, praising the efforts made by Khartoum State and the Ministry of Interior in securing the state and working to prepare and organize the provision of security, water, and electricity services, as well as rehabilitating the destruction and devastation caused by the RSF militia to various facilities and installations in the national capital.
