Sovereignty Council Member Nuwara Abu Mohammed Visits Hamashkorib Khalwas

Member of the Sovereignty Council, Nuwara Abu Mohammed Mohammed Tahir, praised the significant role played by the Hamashkorib Khalwas and the Sheikh Betai Centers for Women in Quran Memorization, and their contribution to guidance, advocacy, and the promotion of national education.
She emphasized the need to prioritize school education at all levels and training in all fields.
Her Excellency inspected the Khalwas for women and girls, affirming her serious commitment and efforts to develop memorization and guidance centers and the need to work to eradicate illiteracy, train girls and women, and empower them in society.
Dr. Nuwara expressed her hope that students and Quran memorizers would continue to supplicate and pray to God for victory for the armed forces, other regular forces, and those mobilized in the Battle of Dignity, which is nearing its end, and that He would cleanse the land of Sudan of the filth of the rebel militia so that Sudan may enjoy peace, security, and stability.
Her Excellency reviewed the distinguished roles played by the Khalwas of Sheikh Ali Bitai since 1951, and later by his descendants, who preserved this historical and religious legacy. The Khalwas have become a destination for students of knowledge and learning, distinguished by their unique curriculum and smooth method of teaching the Holy Quran, as well as other worldly sciences.
The Sovereignty Council member expressed her gratitude for the hospitality and warm welcome the people of the Hamashkorib locality have received.
For his part, the Governor of Kassala State, Major General (Rtd.) Al-Sadig Mohamed Al-Azraq, praised the significant role played by the Khalwas of Hameshkorib and their support for the armed forces through convoys of in-kind and material support, as well as through their sons who rushed to defend the homeland and participated in the War of Dignity. He called on the people of Hamashkorib to continue to pray for the armed forces in their battle against mercenaries and rebels. For his part, Sheikh Betai affirmed their support for the armed forces and their supporting forces through prayers and supplications to God Almighty, working to unify the national ranks, combating racism and tribalism, and working to instill a national spirit in the students of the khalwas, thus enhancing stability, sustainable development, and societal peace.
